Volunteer Your Place

This is a chance to offer some comfort in a situation that for many people has been a life-shattering experience. We all now carry the scars of 21st century hatred and violence across the globe. We can say 'no' through small as well as large acts of kindness. We can fight fear by coming closer and showing that collectively we will heal together.

If you have a spare room that you'd be willing to give up for three nights you'll be giving someone a chance to be in a new environment where they can process, reflect and be supported in the early stages of their healing process. You are providing a space that becomes actively helpful.

Don't have a whole room but maybe a couch? Or don't have a place but want to get someone a hotel for a night or more? That's just as good, let's offer it nonetheless. Any little bit helps, it strengthens the signal that, couch or luxury suite, it doesn't matter: you are not alone.

Becoming a host is a simple process. If you live in the European Union and are authorised to have guests, send a note to info@opendoorsforparis.com. You'll be asked to fill out a form that describes what you offer, the dates available, and provide some proof of verifying your identity.  All of your information is kept confidential and protected.

Once you're approved, we'll put your listing up and let you know if you've got an inquiry.

The amount of time you wish to give can range anywhere from one night to three hundred, it is your choice entirely, any amount is a precious offer. This is a healing process that will take more than just the next few weeks.

Help say 'no' to the hatred that wishes to separate us through a personal, meaningful action that brings us together.
